About Carters Coaches

From modest beginnings, Keith's parents, Gordon and Bessie Carter, started the business with a 14-seater Chevrolet from garage premises in Litcham, Norfolk. Carters Coaches still operates from the original premises but is now managed by a third generation of the Carter family - Graham Carter.

The Carters Coaches fleet in the 1950s consisted of six Bedfords with various body styles. Carters Coaches used Bedford coaches for many years. The current fleet consists of a wide range of coach models designed to meet today's varied requirements. 

Today we have 11 coaches which we operate for all types of work. All our drivers are DBS checked and trained in basic First Aid.
